Delayed and not denied. Stephanie and I had tickets to see the African Giant back in 2020. We were ready to see him in a small intimate venue and then the world shut down.
We were devastated to say the least.
Pandemic happens, Ye continues to top the charts, we get Last Last, Birkin bag scandals and City Boys while Damini is sitting on top of the world in his G-Star Raw fit.
The world is seeing what we saw all along, a star.
We’ve seen Burna since the original show date. Steph and I saw Burna Boy October in Miami during Carnival. The promoters tried a ting where Machel Montano performed after Burna Boy but it was a mess. They merged two festivals together & it flopped.Burna Boy ran out of show time, he left the stage with all of his clothes on! Then the DJ after him brought the vibe all the way down and since then I’ve been manifesting a solo redemption show.
Not a festival, just Burna.
Fast Forward to 2024 and we finally got to see Burna Boy Live in his first official solo show in Hollywood, FL. I’m still processing the surprise tickets from Stephanie, her inviting me to attend with her and the greatness that is my man, my man, my man.
