Being adopted is special. Being embraced and accepted by people you share zero DNA with is truly a blessing. I’m a sister, an auntie, a cousin, a God Mom and above it all, I’m loved.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been attending the Abner Family Reunion. This year, my sisters and I played a role in curating the first family reunion at sea. We had help from many others.
We created fliers, a website, themed events, and outfits. We held competitions for the best-decorated door and celebrity costume. We went all out. It was a cruise to remember.
