DIY Floral Decor for Birthday Parties: A Personal Touch

Celebrating my sister always comes easy.

I was honored that she trusted my creative vision to bring her Pinterest dreams to life.

While we toured the venue weeks before the event, I mapped out exactly where to place everything.

I saw different floral installations and I knew that if someone else made it, I could do it too.

Thousands of artificial flowers were ordered from overseas.

After many trips to Home Depot for wood, paint, nails, and many other items, everything really started to come together.

My living room and one of my bedrooms became my studio as I spent hours hot gluing, arranging florals, and using a Cricuit machine to add details to each item.

We contacted friends who became entrepreneurs to cater the brunch, set the tone with the music and vibes and serve custom mocktails and cocktails to the many guests.

We set the venue up the night before and on the day of added final details.

Despite the blazing Florida sun, the poolside event was perfect.

My sister thanked everyone for making her birthday so special and I was so happy everyone recognized my passion and creativity.
