In the words of the Bishop “Get Ready, Get Ready” and Stay Ready.
After working my 9-5 role and fighting traffic for 2 hours I recieved a text requesting last minute headshots. At that time my only thought was dinner, shower, and a movie but I knew this was a response to my manifestations and prayers.
While in St.Lucia, I met a man on the road and expressed to him my 5-9 consist of creative projects and one of which is photography. I told him that if I could pursue my passion projects full time minus corporate life, I would. And now exactly 7 days later, this photoshoot request.
I arrived home, packed my equipment in the car, arrived on scene to shoot, and was set up to shoot in less than an hour. I cheered my past self for charging the batteries, having a memory card with space, and knowing exactly where my backdrop was.
Within 24 hours raw images were sent for selection and in less than 4 days final edits were sent to the client. She loved them and I’m so happy that another photographer’s unfortunate last minute cancelation was my opportunity and
I was ready.
