NOLA – Gyalentine’s Day

May all of your days contain spontaneity

About three weeks before February 13th, I decided to inject a bit of spontaneity into my life and sent out mass text messages to some of my girlfriends.

My plan was simple yet exciting: depart from Fort Lauderdale early in the morning, jet off to New Orleans, and make the most of our time there before catching the latest flight back home.

The day of our adventure arrived, and excitement filled the air as we boarded the plane. Dressed in accents of red or pink, we were ready to take on whatever New Orleans had in store for us.

We wasted no time diving into the local culture, indulging in delicious food, sipping on cocktails, and immersing ourselves in the lively atmosphere.

From wandering the historic streets to sampling traditional beignets, every moment was filled with laughter and joy. We played themed games, snapped countless photos, and created memories that would last a lifetime.

As the day drew to a close, we reluctantly bid farewell to the Big Easy and boarded our flight back to Fort Lauderdale.

Looking back, our impromptu adventure was a reminder of the magic that happens when we step outside of our comfort zones and embrace the unexpected.

It was a day filled with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable experiences—a day that we’ll cherish forever.

The warmest welcome for the gyals.
