Two of the Bain girls #aintnothingintheworldlikeaBaingirl were in St. Lucia for St.Lucia Carnival 2024. A lush landscape home of the Pitons and Chloe Bailey.
Being the Type A personality that I am, everything was planned, beginning to end. Thanks, CANVA. I’m good for a vision board, a lookbook, coordinating housing and transportation with really great research.
The plan was to arrive and hit the ground running for 7 days of nonstop jamming. We were there for 6 days, AA made an offer that neither of us would refuse. The offer came to my app. It included $800 in flight credits. I contacted the rep to ask if they extend it to her. They did.
We landed on the 11th. We were picked up in a van with a group of strangers. They became our posse for the week. Our driver stopped to grab us lunch, a quick bathroom break, and a few shots at the bar.
We arrived to our tiny but quaint Airbnb and started exploring the neighborhood.Hafeeza secured the housing for us through one of her friends and it was perfect. A full kitchen, dining area, TV, queen bed, closet, and a full bathroom. It was slightly larger than a studio. Apparently, he owns the entire building. He rents out apartments and does Airbnb. Quite the businessman.
Our Airbnb was walking distance to yoga studios, restaurants, resorts and Reduit Beach. The water was still. The beach wasn’t crowded. We met a few ladies who were traveling A few Luicians were selling snacks and souvenirs.
